Cutters Point Coffee Fishermen's Blend in Review "A Real Bob Backlund of a Brew"

“Have you Kaplowitz’d to-day?”

ORIGIN: Blend
VARIETAL: Blend

BREW METHOD: French Press
INTENSITY: Medium-Full

WEBSITE: www.cutterspoint.com

NOTES:
Molasses | Roasted oranges | Chocolate fudge

Rich & weighty. Complex & well-balanced. Eye-balls thatta-way, as well, & bit cloudily-so. Noses to a tick citrus pith but mainly toasted nuts, woodsy earthiness, muted. Vegetal savory there, and to the sip. Wood shows as a seasoned hardwood on the palate.

Nicely structured. Oak. Walnut. Roasted orange & chocolate fudge brownie Death-By- style. B-I-G. Molasses is what drives the sweetness, however, a blackstrap version from top-of mid-section. Maduro tobacco adds to the sweet maturations. A tick of cracked black pepper braces.

Finishes w/ that pepperiness, engulfed in chocolate on long un-cloying leathery legs. About the perfect cup of an everyday. Balanced, well-rounded, technically sound af. Perhaps lacking in character, a swarthy panache it seems to recommend. A real Bob Backlund of a brew.
