NxtWave Coffee Special Edition* (Fall 2020) in Review "Frequenting Taco Trucks"

“Have you Kaplowitz’d to-day?”

NxtWave Coffee
Special Edition*
(Fall 2020) in Review

ORIGIN: Brazil. Patrocinio, Minas Gerais (Cerrado Mineiro)
VARIETAL: Red Catuai

PROCESS: Natural
BREW METHOD: Pour-over

Charred oak | Dark chocolate | Leather

Patent leather looks & tip-toeing nose. Dark, shiny, & mute. See? A sinewy 147lb'er outside of camp between fights, walking around at190lbs. Frequenting taco trucks. Charred oak structures & drives, calms when the dark chocolate opens up past its own waxiness, joins. Plum, hanging heavy from the tree.

Leather envelopes in an evolving earthen manner. Barnyard, compost. Fresh fruit dalliances add nice acidity, stave off the abyss. Undertones of beef broth. Taco seasoning (from a block away). A bit of anise seed, maybe fennel. Mainly black peppercorn. Starts simply, shifts to another familiar gear. Each done quite well. This offering smokes pipe tobacco, bear w/ me. [Scarred knuckles.]

Traditional, & top-shelf therein. Calming & heartening. Black walnuts as it cools further. Complex, un-jarringly-so. Lesser nuanced depths than expected; notes skim along the top. Smooth, sating. A gentleman & a scholar with a wild past. [Faded chest piece tat under tweed sportscoat]
