“Have you Kaplowitz’d to-day?”

ORIGIN: Central and South American
BREW METHOD: Pour-over

Earth | Chocolate malt | Nuts

Smooth. Supple. Smoopple? Sure. Gently bittersweet leathery earth top-to-bottom w/ some really great complexities/nuances. But I'm on-ahead of myself. Sits in the cup looking a lot like coffee. California suede w/ brick red clouded depths. Doesn't water at the edges. Sips to swirls of 85% cacao, black walnut/pecan nuttiness & citrus which tugs chocolate.

A Terry's Chocolate Orange. That's it. Some tropical floral & fruit notes. A beef stew underpinning. A crisp black pepper twang, fleetingly. Excellent balance, very good structure -- plush, unrigid. Easy-peasy but not lazy. Cools into softwoods... pine. Yeasty. Sweet. Pine nuts. A pignoli cookie? Sure. Eye-talian. Almond paste. Homey comfy.

Clean. Finishes sweet & clean. Lip-smacking & sating. Kinda like a country drive. Long-easy curves and gradual peaks/valleys. Unfurls extraordinarily well. Suede now. Evolving. Tons of character. A chillen brew. I'd like it by a campfire on a beach. It's actually a lot like that. Malty, too. Lots going on w/ no rush to put on. Seemingly wants re-evaluated via Moka Pot.
