Split Rail Coffee La Gloria in Review "I'm Craving Toffee Now"

“Have you Kaplowitz’d to-day?”

Split Rail Coffee La Gloria

ORIGIN: Boquete, Panama
VARIETAL: Typica

PROCESS: Washed
BREW METHOD: French Press

INTENSITY: Medium

WEBSITE: splitrailcoffee.com

NOTES:
Toffee | Chocolate | Almonds

Sweet & pleasant. Airy & water. Lacking in structure, laying albeit rather comfortably, oh so broadly on the tongue. Melted English toffee (made buttery, with almonds). Milk chocolate is the chocolate on-hand, the type that coats candy bars. Undertones are the opening credits to Little House on the Prairie. A meadow of weedy flowers over grass over earth -- childishly frolicked through in leather shoes.

Sweet muted whispers in re aroma. Again, pleasant. Calm. Unspectacular. Kind. Not complex or nuanced. Short-legged finish with a tick-failed or tick-realized lemony gambit. Sedate. Gentle. Ends a bit grainy-malty after finish trails off. I'm craving toffee now. Cools to very watery. Unimaginative.
